It serves students from Candlewood Elementary, Flower Hill Elementary, and Mill Creek Towne Elementary Schools. Approximately 640 students in the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades attend Shady Grove. Shady Grove Middle School was named for Shady Grove Road, which goes through three communities that send students to the school.
